Supergirl S4 to Introduce Show's First Transgender Character

According to Comicbook.com, a casting notice was recently discovered for a character called Nia Nal. The character is said to be a transgender woman in her early 20’s that is described as a “young Cat Grant type.” Not only is the network looking to cast a transgender woman, but the casting call also suggests that it is looking to cast said role with open ethnicity.

A strong independent transgender woman i a leading role? Sounds like a good role model to me.
