It seems to me that our most efficient weapons in the war against the politics of hate can be found in popular culture.

I suspect that the new Star Wars Rogue One movie will be an even more important rallying point for people of color, women, LGBTQA people and others who are facing violence and marginalization.

Designed by Seth Adams, Weitz and many others are sharing the Rebellion symbol with a safety pin.

The safety pin is part of a movement that began in Britain after the Brexit vote. People wore the pin to show solidarity to refugees, immigrants, and other who felt unsafe or scared.
