Hamlette is a transgender revisioning of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, written and performed by Zhen Dao, a transgender woman, and told from the perspective of a transgender woman who is negotiating the intersections of majesty and abuse, longing and fate, eros and civilization.

Hamlette will debut in early 2020, with Zhen Dao touring in 2019 with a satellite performance called HAMLETTE: THREE SOLILOQUIES.
