Currently studying in a french art school, I’m looking for people (girls) interested in taking part in my editing project.
I work a lot on woman, and specifically here how do internet and social networks influences her position in the world, her vision of herself, her body and others.
I would like to call it “The new Venus”, it would be constituted only of pictures from Instagram, Tumblr or even Snapchat. I wanted to find maximum of pictures of round / muscular / slim / skinny girls. I also would like to include binary and non-binary women. I want to share a message of body positivity here, for me, whatever body you have, this body is beautiful as long as you feel good.
Venus represents femininity at its top, a beauty canon, exemple, that today no longer mean anything. We must do away with standards of beauty dictated by magazines, etc. Things are about to change a lot with some women and men who are raising more and more the voice against these dictates for younger girls accepting their body as it is. Too fat, too thin, too much or not enough ass, all bodies are beautiful and will be honored in this edition!
If you want to participate, send me the photo you want (still rather naked as you can see on Tumblr or Instagram), your face does not need to appear there, the book is anonymous unless you want your name to be in it, your body may not appear in full. If you do not see what “kind” of photographs I search, I can send you some examples!
If you are a minor, you should not send in photos of yourself nude, and you will need permission from a parent or guardian to contribute pictures that reveals your identity.
